electrical issue or what?

had my truck out last saturday for about 1 to 2 hours pulled in out front every thing was fine till then . left it sit for about 1 hour . whent out to put it away still ok .after it got warmed up again it started to miss really bad would hardly run . after i parked it and shut it down i could not find any thing wrong. so i left it sit till the next day. went out started it every thing is running fine till it gets warm again.

Year? Make? Model?
Just a guess. I had a similar problem with a '93 Chevy.
Turned out to be ignition module in the distributor.
If it's OBDII have it scanned.

1970 chevy c-10 with a few modifications but a standard HEI distributor with module and stock coil.HEI only in it about 3 to 5 years got sick of dual point accel.

it was the pickup coil so I replaced the distributor all is fine now
